Yesterday Mayor Mamdani released his executive budget for FY27, and NYC PLAN is disappointed to see that it falls $97million short of his promise to fund our libraries at 0.5% of the city expense budget. Our libraries deserve stable and increased funding, and we’re ready to continue this fight!
