The fact that I'm doing this with an eye infection is just a detail in the grand scheme of things but it's also another proof that my body has been quietly shutting down since my defence. As if it was telling me I've done my life work and now I can decay in peace.
Did I sign up for an online ticket even though I won't be able to watch the event live? Well yes, yes I did.
