I always post the beauty & joy of being Irish but today isn't one of those days. We've seen a horrifically violent act be used by the far right to drum up racist hate which has accumulated in people houses being burned down & masked men searching for immigrants. Devastated doesn't begin to cover it.

Last week in Ireland. "Footage shows Yves Sakila, a 35-year-old Congolese-born man, died screaming in distress as he was held down by several men, some wearing suits, for nearly five minutes. By the end of the video, he is motionless." The regularity with which this happens is appalling.
