All on trampolines or into a foam pit, but they all definitely still count.
As much as I love doing these skills myself, I also really love breaking them down and helping other people experience them.
A new person came to gymnastics yesterday and was looking lost, so I asked them what they wanted to do. They said a backflip. I asked if they'd ever done a flip before... no. Somersaults? No. Nothing.
I had them landing a front flip in 10 minutes and landing a backflip by the end of the session.
