Judge Lady Ross said sex segregation in prisons must be based on biological sex, based on a Supreme Court ruling last year.
Am I right in saying this is the same judge who ruled that school toilets in Scotland had to sex segregated and that it had to be based on birth sex

Another vile, ignorant decision from the courts.
A progressive government that cared about human rights could negate all of this lawfare; bypass all the hate groups that caused this, with simple legislation (proven in other countries), in a few months.
But we don't have a progressive government.

I do actually think the amount of taxpayer money being wasted on dealing with vexatious legal claims against the Scottish Government, the NHS, the Prison Service etc as a result of the Supreme Court changing the definition of the Equality Act should be more of a national scandal, to be honest.
I think this is the longest, most incoherent judgment I have ever read from a UK court.
