The Trump admin does not give a flying fuck about the rural US in actuality, only when trying to leverage it for votes. The sooner red districts understand this, the better.
My friends who attended Berkeley in the 70s could put themselves through college with a part-time job. Rent was cheap and it was a public university that charged California residents like $75/quarter tuition.
