Well, I think it's fair to say that this was a surprise for everyone involved.
My mum's been looking at my Bluesky account and reading replies to my posts. "There are some really nice, witty, clever people on there, aren't there?" she said. It's true & worth remembering. Trolls & reply guys & jokesplainers are here but they are not the norm. They're not what shapes this place.
