Glen needed a song and Jimmy Webb gave him the one warning the producer that he hadn’t finished it yet. It was recorded anyway and one of the greatest country songs ever was released.
The IRA detonated a 3,300lb lorry bomb on Corporation Street, Manchester, at 11.20am on this day 1996, the biggest bomb detonated in Britain since WW2. Four coded warnings meant that no one died, but 220 were injured and damage to the retail and commercial core was extensive.

I don't think I like the narrative of being in a divided country. When somebody is racist I don't have a difference of opinion with that person. they have a moral failing. I'm not obliged to reach over the boundary and explain that we could probably swap kidneys if we needed. Who has the time lol
