#Update: A Toronto police officer is dead following an apparent exchange of gunfire during a raid at a highrise building in North York, according to the U.S. ambassador to Canada.
Police were executing a search warrant in the Trethewey Drive and Black Creek Drive area around 5:40 a.m. at the time of the shooting.
