#Update: Toronto police officer Marc Pinizzotto, 43, was killed while conducting a search warrant earlier this morning, said Toronto police chief Myron Demkiw. This is the second death of an Ontario police officer this week.

Murder on Mount Olive: Awet Asfaha is trying to convince a Toronto jury he deserves a chance at early parole over the 2009 murder of Bishen Golaub.
This week, Asfaha, who had maintained his innocence for 17 years, admitted that he shot Golaub three times.
