What a great match. And serving it out in a game including two aces.
Today was (even by my standards for the last year) stressful, but in the end I think things might be ok. Huge kitchen will end up slightly more huge because someone couldn't do the right maths. Plus they are paying all the ££ for new architect/engineer drawings, new planning things etc etc oh god
I really love this building in Wells-Next-The-Sea.
I have to strain the boiling water from my pasta/potatoes etc outside, in my current semi-camping state. I always aim for a big rock for the sploosh of boiling water. In my head it gives the worms who might be living nearby a fighting chance. I don't know.
There's a fair bit of confused thinking going on here. And I haven't started on the layout.
I won't lie, over the weekend I was afeared we were looking at months of delay, possible ripping out of what we had done (all that lovely smooth concrete FOR THE SECOND BLOODY TIME), and ££££. But no. So... yay?
Maths, people. It is important.
A glass of rosé you say? well why not
Now, what should I do with the 340mm extra width and 420mm extra length in the kitchen, eh? Small perimeter running track? Wall-hung tapestries? A mural to honour the red-taped planning gods?
Andy and Serena playing Wimbledon doubles? Let's start this rumour now.
Just switched the tennis on and saw Victoria Mboko slip and retire injured. Always awful when this happens, plus now we have the added thing of whether she will be okay to play doubles with Serena. Wishing her well.
Sometimes Wordle knows when you need to hear you are magnificent.
(We are all magnificent. It forgets to tell us every day. I'm telling YOU)
