Born #Onthisday 1899 in #Dublin #IrishAuthor Elizabeth Bowen of Bowen's Court #Cork which she was forced to sell in 1959. It was quickly demolished, an act which caused fury at the time & was denounced as 'outrageous vandalism' shorturl.at/VDRSS
