I truly hope this becomes a significant precedent.
I similarly tried to reroll this to get ANY version of it with +3 to shock (or +4 if it rolls greater affix). It costs 50 resin. I had 5000 so I rerolled it 100 times in a row. On my shock sorc build I rolled +3 fire, +3 frost, 6 greater affixes on useless stats. +3 shock on multiple other runes.
Maaaan. This is what I hate about "random" in video games.
I hit this 5 times and it failed every time.
The chance of failing this 5 times in a row is something like .032%. Absolutely insane anyone would ever hit this in a video game where you can just give a win so it doesn't feel shit to play.
Granted the chances of this are much lower. 5 runes, with a pool of who knows how many affixes, all with various ranges. But. This isn't the first time I've done this. And you have my build. You know what I'm doing, and what I'm rolling for. Just give me the item that makes my build 0.1% better

I have this issue with Baldur's Gate in every disarm/lockpick/fight to-hit-%. How do you not sliding-scale this, so at *the very least* the last attempt is a guaranteed hit? Gacha games have figured this out, and yeah it's a "pity pull" or whatever, but they know it feels bad to consistently lose
Simply play two games a day.

Wife and kid playing Rayman, and a level comes up that is Black Betty. Jumps, attacks need to be timed with the music, enemies pop in on the bam-a-lams. It's one of the greatest things I've ever seen in video games. I defy you to watch this and think differently.
