actually what’s happening. It’s not upset or angry and that needs to be said.
Indifference is much worse than angry or upset & that should scare folks way more than it seems to be.
If folks don’t think a Black candidate can win in TX then they shouldn’t be surprised when the sentiment is returned.
Actually what happened in the very beginning is Talerico was going to run for governor and Allred & Crockett were going to run for federal offices.
His campaign manager decided differently.
Crockett waited for the SCOTUS decision which took forever & realized TX had disappeared her district.
The amount of people that have magically forgotten that Black Folks in Texas don’t have to wonder if Talarico would throw them under the bus is mind blowing.
They don’t have to wonder because he already showed them he won’t fight for them.
