(Technically, this isn't ALWAYS the case. Some websites, like social media networks, might be better if notifications are turned on. But frankly, who really needs them?)
When a website asks you to send notifications, just say no!
Especially if it talks about verification. This is a trick - the website will use these notifications to spam your computer with ads.
If this ever happens to you, talk to a nerd you trust.
FYI: private group chat + time = public group chat
Especially on BlueSky, the social network made to be infinitely leaky
If you ever use those URL downloading websites (Bluesky to mp4, YouTube to gif, etc):
DON'T let them read from, or "paste" from, your clipboard.
It's just not worth the risk.
