A charitable take I’d give is that there are legitimate concerns over how stuff like this will raise the standard of what it means to be indie and drown out smaller artists because of those expectations. Also, we’re used to being betrayed by creators & companies so Glitch’s quick rise is concerning

Redrawing trees from The Art Coach’s tutorials and making my own! I had a lot of fun doing them!
Like look at Spindlehorse and how it was lauded as being Indie & yet it’s treating their animators horribly.
And finally, they the blurring of boundaries between niche fandom and mainstream stuff. We are seeing how bad it’s getting already and stuff like this will be blamed for contributing to it
