I am probably wasting too many neuron fires debating whether to send a harsh but fair reply to a (presumably) inside sales rep at a former employer (who claims he works with some inflated title in the "Department of War") or just unleash the 16" guns.
If anyone else I know will be at Kubecon in Amsterdam, I'll be there.
Yeah. We haven't had a huge amount of snow but it's been pretty unrelentingly cold for ages. The door came off my mailbox today because of rust and I'll try to do do another temporary repair when it warms up a *bit* this week before I do a proper replacement this spring.
I (mostly) retired around the time when I planned to. But given different circumstances my calendar might have shifted.
Whitewater paddling friends (who do a lot of shuttling) like their minivans a lot. I've been in some larger 3-row SUVs that work pretty well for hauling people, but in general, I don't think they're a great choice. For two people-maybe three-transporting a lot of gear, I find mid-size SUVs work OK.
Oh. Duh. I'm basically having invites in the DST to standard time transition. Computer doesn't seem toIbe doing a good job. Guess I'll just figure it it out closer to the the time.
Very nice. I need to get back to that area at some point.
I'm in that phase for an upcoming trip where I'm like "Crap. It's just around the corner and not a thing in an indefinite future any longer."
