Working on a watercolour of Ancalagon the Black for the 2027 Beyond Bree Tolkien calendar. The blue stuff is rubber masking fluid. I also experimented with salt to give the wet-in-wet parts some more texture. Now come the scales and a small brush ...
Bicycle ride through the Schelderwald, an area that until the 1960s had lots of iron mines. Sadly, many of the remaining buildings are falling apart now. Pretty sure the deserted villa is haunted …
