There's no better distillation of Project 2025 than this: an illegal action, taken without any public oversight, for inherently corrupt purposes, now held to be irreversible for no other reason than because they added poison pills to make it unacceptably damaging.

They don't need to cheat for natural 20s because the players and GM will work together to make things interesting and fun even in failures. Any information missed will be given later in less advantage ways. The most fun segments of my campaigns started by player fumbles.
