Asparagus tastes really good and then it sends you a postcard later
To understand my grandma, you need to know three things:
1) she grew up in the Depression-era rural South
2) she got married at 17
3) she’s an adult Catholic convert
She tried SO hard to fit in up in Boston with her new Italian family. She learned how to make the food, dyed her hair dark. Since my grandpa died in 2007, she’s been suspended in amber.

I went up to Revere today to see my grandmother. She’s about six weeks out from her 100th birthday and I do believe she’s ready to wrap things up
