frustrated or grossed out, and saying hey this was not great, i didn’t like it. can we please stop cycling around and around at this point? good lord.
i think it would be nice if the people mad at the people who are mad at ospreay just stopped complaining about the people mad at ospreay. maybe it didn’t bother you but it bothered others and that ok? i don’t see anyone calling for him to be fired or canceled or anything, mostly i see people being
People are going OH A MAN ISN'T ALLOWED TO TALK ABOUT SLEEPING WITH HIS WIFE when that is not even remotely the issue, it's that he said he "smashed the life out of her, then told her to clean herself up cause I'm going to Austin" And is now responding to rightful criticism like this
truly don’t care if you or other women aren’t offended. i’m annoyed that men in the wrestling community are acting like we’re whining about something silly. we’re allowed to think it was gross. i’m not imposing my opinion on others, i’m asking people to respect others feelings and opinions.
omg you all do not get it. it is the fucking nasty word choice, that was weird and gross and disrespectful. i don’t want to “cancel” will ospreay, i want him and wrestling overall to Be Better and not gross and misogynistic.
you seem reasonable and cool. 🙄
it’s not what he said that was so offensive, i don’t give a fuck if he wants to say he banged his new wife. i think it’s just a really gross way he said it, felt very disrespectful. its ok if you had a different opinion, thats not how everyone feels.
honestly i was grossed out and found it tasteless, but most of what i am a little pissed about was the reaction of most men i was seeing talk about this in a really mean way “oh the woke girlies are at it again! it’s not that serious” and it just felt so dismissive for no reason.
it’s just such a minefield to be a woman and be into wrestling, i don’t think AEW is inherently misogynistic or anything, just that it’s hard to hear everyone calling anyone offended a crybaby. if alex windsor is cool with him talking about her like that, great. just felt weird and uncomfortable.
not trying to start anything but it’s just legit disappointing to have such a weird misogynistic thing said and when women say “hey i don’t like that, that was not ok”, it sucks to see people dismiss that as merely “complaints” when it’s valid criticism of a thing we enjoy.
