Iran’s Supreme National Security Council announced in a statement that it had finalized the memorandum of understanding for a cease-fire deal with the United States under the guidance of the supreme leader, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei.
Seeing lots of words about an agreement. None of them include “complete and total surrender by Iran,” which even with my somewhat compromised memory was the bar I recall set by Trump for ending this war.
They have the Strait and $25b. Plus some billions from whatever country doesn't want its ships to be droned.
We should all remember that the strait was open pre Trump war- and that it’s just the height of gaslighting to act like this is some kind of amazing deal…
Particularly since hegseth was crowing on tv this morning saying the strait had always been open.

Viewing this Iran war “agreement” in that context might be instructive.
The only positive thing the US gets out of this “agreement” is that its president gets to toot his own horn on his birthday.

Look, I believe he is the world’s worst negotiator. But even i find it hard to believe this is a serious component of any agreement because WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK IS THIS?
