The students conducted independent research throughout the semester that culminated in three pieces: a short written article for a public audience (either an op-ed or JOTWELL), an infographic, and a short presentation. They were stellar! 2/4
The students also created one-page graphics of any legal history topic of their choosing for our final session and THEY WERE SO GOOD! They definitely inspired me to revise up the seminar and run it again.
What graphic novel resources and assignments are you using to teach?
If you want to know more about the infographic assignment specifically, I've written about it in the context of rural law seminars for @rural-reconcile.bsky.social. That link includes posts of previous students' work, too. www.ruralreconcile.org/ruralreview/...
And, in case you're interested, I've posted some teaching materials here. www.emilyprifogle.com/rural-law 4/4
