Speaking as one who never misses an opportunity to shoehorn a topic into a post, and as it’s Sky Awareness Week, I’m sharing (and you may be ahead of me here) a linocut with a sky - for those of us who need to practice their awareness πŸ€” β€˜Storm Clouds over Whitehall’ linocut #whitehall #stjamespark
A slightly odd view from the train on the approach to Blackfriars station - you’re looking straight on at the London Eye and yet somehow the sunset is still off to the west. It’s thanks to that great loop in the Thames - there are some great views that are technically correct but a bit unexpected!

Apparently June is skyscraper month - exactly why tall buildings need their own special month is anyone’s guess - nevertheless, here I am with some skyscrapers… #Londonskyline #linocut
I’ll be at Eames Fine Art (5 mins from London Bridge) on May 2nd where I’ll be discussing my latest print β€œApril Come She Will” and the evolution of my work Talk at 11am (limited spaces – RSVP directly to the gallery) Drop in from 12:30pm if you can’t make the talk - see you there!
A trip down memory lane with this one - so long ago I barely remember it. I do know it’s a linocut of a tube station, although I can’t quite place which one, and I’m drawing a bit of a blank on the title too. Must be getting old… #linocut #londonart
I am genuinely thrilled to share with you that on World Flip Flop Day I actually have a linocut with a pair of flip-flops in it…. That’s all for today 🩴
These four very long, thin linocuts are horribly difficult to print and a really awkward size to frame. Still, it seemed like an excellent idea at the time.... #londonart #linocuts
You may be surprised to hear, but today is World Goth Day πŸŽ‰ I’m not sure how a goth might celebrate their special day - difficult to imagine - but for all goths out there, this one’s for you πŸ–€ #worldgothday
Lots of wonderful prints to see at ORIGINAL PRINTS 2026 - the Royal Society of Printmakers Annual Exhibition for members is at Bankside Gallery, London (right next to Tate Modern on the Southbank) Open daily with free entry 😊 Dates: 24th April - 31st May Image: The Last of the Light (linocut)

For those tyre enthusiasts out there - and I’m sure there are many of you - today, in 1923, Firestone started producing balloon-tyres for cars. Which leads neatly on to my linocut of some cars, sadly lacking, as I am, in any artwork that includes bunnies, lambs or eggs. Happy Easter everyone! 🐣
