If I were in charge of Xbox, I wouldn't begin my campaign to revitalise the brand's image by closing beloved game studios with an incredibly visible and public-facing reputations.
It's impossible to fathom the cost on the balance sheet being worth the hit to reputation, morale and retention.

seeing companies just put out stuff that would've gotten my pay slashed or got me fired or just not make me worth hiring in the future feels both insulting and a betrayal. like, did anyone even care about brand management or was it just a power trip. I honestly don't know anymore.
