The usual weekend #TOTP history-fest. Just watched Cliff Richard and The Young Ones sing Livin’ Doll 3 times. HOWLING. It is sublimely silly.
My choir were singing tonight - Brahms German Requiem; an absolutely dreamy piece & fab for altos. I got the best compliment from tonight’s conductor, who told our chorus director that my connection with him was so good I gave him confidence to conduct & I am an exemplary chorister. BUZZING!

Have hauled my croaky arse down to the QFT to see the new Marianne Faithfull doco, Broken English. I feel like I could currently deliver a pretty accurate rendition of Broken English right now, after this week’s exertions.
Watching the Masterchef final. I’ve just noticed that I actually take Anna’s assessments of each chef seriously; like I feel that she’s actually been paying attention and assessing them as they’ve gone through. Nice.
