Didn’t get to the event - meeting with a countess in Edinburgh, and a game of cards with Sebastian Moran and Quincy Morris at the Bagatelle Club in London first.
A little by accident, a little by design, it appears I’m running Kim Newman’s League of Extraordinary Gentlemen by way of Stoker and HPL.
I love it when I'm looking up ideas for a specific sort of person NPC in a specific period for a game, and history does not just only 'provide', but absolutely drench me good and proper in the fantastic.

That, my friends, has been a strange and very productive weekend. Feel like I've hardly slept a wink (the clocks changing hasn't helped, but you know, situation normal) but...jeez.
