During yesterday’s oncall: one ECMO for a child not vaccinated against Diphtheria (very religious family) ; and a bleeding in a circumcised baby without coagulation check. What have we failed as a society to surrender the sake of our children to religious matters…are we back to the Middle Ages?
Our study on “Surgical Outcomes of Liver Resection for Hepatoblastoma in Infants Versus Older Children: A Bi-Centric, Propensity-Score-Matched, Comparative Study” has just been published in the journal of pediatric surgery.
