Things I did while running a Monte Carlo simulation:
- Put out a lab newsletter and event recap YouTube video
- Met with three mentees
- Graded 9 grad students' neuroanatomy final projects
- Organized and sent out lab updates
- 3D printed a brain
- Oversaw a CAB meeting
and still simulating . . .

Ok this now has to become a very close second, because I just got news that I received a University Research Grant from Wayne State! It is such a joy to be here, & I am immensely grateful for the institution's investment in our work @ruvvyresiliencelab.bsky.social.

Ok, I have to say having a #grant go from waiting on an NOA that never game to not discussed is pretty soul-crushing 😢 Grateful to have multiple irons in the fire and hoping for better outcomes for the next three on the horizon. I continue to learn to practice what I preach about #resilience!
