Yesterday, one of my students presented their brilliant senior honors thesis on Queer performance and activism in Lebanon and Kuwait. The archive Brennan assembled and analyzed was astounding. 1/4
Final projects are due for my courses today and the array of topics is simply astounding. Students critically explored everything from culinary culture in the Ottoman Empire to oil and governance in Bahrain to the politics of aid in Gaza. Their work never ceases to inspire me.
