Treecreeper. Merlin indicated it heard one but I didn't believe it (rare for me here). Looked up to see them in a spiral flight around and round the trunk of the tree I was standing by! After settling they preened a bit, yawned wide then headed upwards searching for bugs. ๐ท๐ธ๐๏ธ๐ชถ #birds #ukwildlife
Gorgeous male grey wagtail in the Dighty Burn at Panmurefield. A female and younger ones were nearby. I don't think I've seen one with such rich colours before. ๐ท๐ธ๐๏ธ๐ชถ #birds #ukwildlife
I do enjoy reading some magazines through the Libby app that Angus Libraries provide access to. But I don't get on too well with the digital ebooks, struggling somewhat with the range available and user interface. But magazines good. And graphic novels work for me from the physical library. #Booksky
Northern marsh orchid in the grass above the Dighty Bank near Panmurefield weir. Pleased to see these emerge again. There was another nearby with two more at the only other place I see them further downstream. ๐ท๐ธ๐๏ธ #flowers
Speckled wood butterfly near the A92 in Monifieth. At least one other seen nearby and another seen a bit later. No other butterflies seen (other than a silver-ground carpet moth deep in thistles) but the weather was unsettled/changeable. ๐ท๐ธ๐๏ธ #butterflies #ukwildlife
We recently started rewatching the Peter Davison era of Doctor Who. Fitting in two episodes every Sunday night. I jotted down thoughts after finishing Castrovalva tonight. We're still working through the Blu-ray special features of interest to us. vivdunstan.dreamwidth.org/793712.html #DoctorWho
