1) There's nothing about #DataCentres that requires #FossilFuels to run them nor our water to cool them. #Renewables could indeed power 100% of it
2) Absent LEGISLATION & ENFORCEMENT thereof it'll never happen. The #TechBros have made it abundantly clear they are incapable of doing the right thing.
