This week I have been in deep community with other brilliant Black women and femmes. The main thing that has come up repeatedly is how much people want from us without considering how we feel.
I want everyone to take a moment to stop and think about when was the last time you genuinely asked a Black woman how they were doing instead of asking for them to do some type of labor for you? Please don’t piss me off.
Let’s NOT ask a Black woman to do anything today challenge.

Another thing that has stood out for me is the lack of consideration, love, and support that we get yet we are still expected to show up for everyone else. This is an all spaces, not just romantic relationships or friendships. People will drain you. Leave us the fuck alone.
