You can eat healthy but not torture yourself with British food
How can you make a logo picturing the Patagonia range not look like the Patagonia range? It’s not like the clothing brand made up the ridge line as some kind of abstract artistic idea. They’re not Bob Ross making happy little mountains. It’s a real place with a real silhouette.
Your examples are both images of specific people. How about if I made a logo depicting the Hawaiian islands and made an outdoor wear company called Hawaii? Now nobody else can sell any swim wear or surf boards with that image or "Hawaii" variant names?
