i was wrong yesterday. i snidely said that surrendering to iran was the only good thing this guy has done. assuming this deal holds (and seeing the terms i suspect a vast array of forces will align against this) it's genuinely an unalloyed good. we have been immiserating these people for too long

thinking about it theres a big stalemate here because while Netanyahu can leak stuff and humiliate trump, trump can unilaterally decide israel isnt real anymore and order the arrests of their entire government. almost like we always hold the leash and pretend netanyahu has any real say in anything
