Here at the NoHo B line station this morning to check on how World Cup service is impacting commuters. Pretty quiet at the moment as we’re a few hours out from the start of the shuttle service but signage (and lots of shade) is up

A really important update for commuters who park at Metro stations — on match days it will be $10 at certain stations and some stations won't have any commuter parking available at all. And parking at Union Station will be $65 on match days *and* fan zone days. I've added this all to my guide!

LA, our megaevent age is upon us. And it all starts with this 39-day test run. This is not a guide for attending World Cup matches. This is not even a guide for watching World Cup matches. (Remember the Torched promise: no sports!) This is a guide for finding and sharing the best of our city
