like Fishbone

I wasn't a fan of everything he did - the harmolodic "free funk" records never sounded good to me - but the Odyssey trio and the Music Revelation Ensemble albums, where he teamed up with saxophonists like David Murray, Arthur Blythe, and Pharoah Sanders and really let rip, are great.
