The flexibility and balance are legit superpowers. I don’t know if there’s EVER been anything like this before
In general, Risacher has got to play lower. Both his dribble and his on-ball defensive stance are too high. High center of gravity leaves him susceptible to blow-bys by slashers, and a high dribble leaves him susceptible to getting picked by bal pressure
Jock Landale is OUT tonight due to illness.

There’s just not really a burst on the first step on drives from a standstill. And that’s okay! Atlanta doesn’t need 0 to play from a standstill.
It just looks so good when the decisions are quick and the game is simplified. The Hawks’ system creates advantages naturally, and 0 is specially equipped to capitalize on the advantages that are there vs trying to manufacture his own. The talent is there 100%
Per @bloghawk.bsky.social on Twt:
Since the ASB the Hawks have played 10 teams in the playoff picture (top 10 in the conferences):
7-3 record
Wins over Detroit and Boston
113.4 ORtg
110.6 DRtg
+2.8 NetRtg
The end of 3rd quarter officiating hasn’t been consistent
HUGE win for Atlanta. This was overcoming adversity all through the team. Signature plays in a playoff atmosphere for everyone
This is ELITE stuff. 0 is stampeding the catch, running before the ball even gets to him. Easy blow by, nobody even bothers to try to stop him. This’ll be a dunk, layup, or free throws ~90% of the time
