I remember in Grade 4, my classmate silently sobbing at her desk during prep for one of these days. While we made crafts and cards, her heart was shattered, her parent had recently died. It just... it's a lot, team. Hug your loved ones close, remembering many folks have lost or never had.

No blood this morning! Gooooo Henry!
I'm rolling my eyes so hard I'm seeing my tailbone. Throwing a tantrum when someone calmly points out your information is 20+ years out of date - as well as factually wrong, then and now - is ridiculous behaviour.
I was too upset / scared to talk about it, but Henry 🦜 started bleeding from one nostril on Tues. His vet worked hard to get him in today - I'm SO grateful. It was a very scary, stressed out day. It's a sinus infection, so two weeks of twice daily meds but treatable!!! The relief is a physical ache.
I'm not a big fan of days devoted to family roles. I've seen so much soul-crushing pain from folks over the years. Some b/c that person caused them profound harm or because losing that person was a shattering loss. Anyway, no shade on the celebrating, just thinking of the folks quietly suffering.
Oh! And isn't the lupin delightful? Every year, my whole life, I fall in love with PEI in her lupin dress.

The vet said he was a sweetheart, and I was so proud of him for being such a good and brave boy 🥹 He was proud too, I think; he muttered about being a good boy a few times tonight 😊
