I think it's really early to make sweeping generalizations either. All I have is anecdotal evidence that they've been both helpful in some ways and reductive in others for my own personal use cases

And I'm all for having difficult conversations but for most of the aforementioned tasks, LLMs really aren't useful and represent real harm for people who build their livelihoods around them.

yes. and I try to be aware of this fact. but like it's much easier to discuss this with you than say someone who writes creatively, composes music, paints / draws / sculpts for a living.
