So I’m reading the Invincible rpg and… the game is really good.
If you’ve played a bunch of supers games, this doesn’t do a lot of innovative, new things.
It’s great iteration. It takes what has worked well in other games and refines it to a razor edge.
I like what I’m reading here a lot.
So, the other thing that has been burning a hole in my head lately:
Pirate Borg drives me crazy.
I hate that it uses the Carribean (sorry "the Dark Carribean, ughhh"), without really talking about the indigenous ppl (all gone when we got there!) or chatel slavery, both of which are important.

I talk a lot of shit here because it’s fun.
But you simply can’t deny how based Plus One Exp is at every turn. I’m profoundly impressed by these folks all the time.
This really only works if you’re a massive company with an established product that you just let get worse or if you’re the only option.
And it sucks. Even if it worked for a company, it’s a shit thing to do.
