@seattledot.bsky.social it’s great to see crews working to fix the Rapid Ride G platform issues.
However, the street closed sign at 13th is placed in a way that blocks the crosswalk and forces ADA access into the street.
Please adjust to safely accommodate people who need to use the ADA ramp.
Crews are out along Yesler Way in Pioneer Square to complete a new connection for people biking & scooting between the Waterfront and the downtown bike network today & into the weekend.
Plus: the new all-way walk signal is ON at Yesler and 1st!

Advocacy may take a while but it does get results! I-90 ramps at Rainier finally have raised crosswalks and warning lights.

I was able to talk with the @seattledot.bsky.social crew and they were able to adjust it to improve access and safety. Thank you! 🙏
Side note: SDOT please train your crews to be aware of these issues, and be respectful to people who ask for safety adjustments.

Really appreciate our electeds who took the time to tour the Rainier side of the new Judkins Park light rail today. There's still work to do to make this a safe and comfortable place for people to walk, roll, ride & live and it's going to take all of us pushing and dreaming of something better!
Look how nice things could be if we just got out of our own way.

We ask everyone outside of the car to be safe so that drivers can be dangerous.
That’s the entirety of our approach to road safety.

A driver was seen driving over the pedestrian island at E Pike and 11th earlier today.
@seattledot.bsky.social please install vertical marker posts on the E Pike pedestrian islands at 10th and 11th to prevent this reckless behavior.
