that said exwm was kind of an interesting experience
really the major headache was the fact that emacs is single-threaded, so if that chokes for any reason, so does your entire computer
another thing was that some apps just Did Not Work Properly™, and were never going to
also copy/paste sucked
so i have been messing around most of the day setting up niri because i have been using exwm pretty much since i bought this laptop (like jan 2022 apparently 😵💫) and i am officially sick of all the things that make it annoying to use
but that means redoing all the customizations/keybindings &c 🫠
