If you live in a state where voting is accessible, it can be hard to understand how *good* the redder states are at putting barriers in place.
So many people might vote if they had a way to get to the DMV, to get their ID, to get to the polls...
Romancing the Vote
In 2 months of volunteering with VoteRiders in TX, I've:
- ordered & paid for birth certificates
- helped arrange rides to DPS, hospitals, & social security
- paid ID fees
Getting out the vote requires *tons* of resources. This is a great opportunity to support orgs like VR reach more people.
