This thread is tiring. My reply (that I hope I won't regret) is in the screenshot. I'm NOT a huge gamer or LitRPG reader & not the demographic: these books are well observed and fun. I have tried other LitRPG & bounced off. Tastes vary; thank f*ck for that. At least Womble _read_ it and disliked it.
Another day, another announcement of job cuts at our uni. We're both employed there, and both in jobs at risk of being made redundant. Feeling pretty hopeless and bereft, both for ourselves and for the wider community/city.
