In LA, I bike to the store, and my gym and restaurants all the time. In a lot of the Bay Area, you'd be hard pressed to walk 10 feet without seeing a cyclist. There should definitely be more infrastructure, but it's exhausting to constantly hear the lie that no one here bikes or takes transit.
