In most U.S. UBI proposals, it would not replace Social Security. It’s usually discussed as an additional floor on top of existing benefits, though some versions do restructure parts of the system.
This too. I'm my students' grandma but I still have big student loan payments. I'd be able to get my medical care with no worries. I might not have to worry so much about a lot of payments. We'd all be able to contribute more to each other with this in place!
