This is why I’m so anti filter because they ARE fun, but I was always turned off by my features being adjusted. What people do is allow the Internet to fall in LOVE w/a version of them that doesn’t exist until they don’t like the version of them that has always existed.

We watched Snapchat filters distort people’s self-image. Now it’s happening again with AI-generated photos. The difference is that instead of tweaking reality, AI can create an entirely fictional version of you, and people are starting to measure themselves against someone who doesn’t even exist.
