I think @quiche.industries is gonna be my Arc Search replacement.
Only a few hundred milliseconds of non-responsiveness is enough for an app to feel frustratingly slow.

Another sneak peek at Quiche Browser's swipe gestures, this time at actual speed.
As said previously, fluid and responsive are my main goals. You can do multiple quick swipes in succession without waiting for the previous animation to finish, and without any stuttering.
Quiche Browser's upcoming gestures feel so alive, you can open a tab, catch it mid-flight, and swipe it away before it's even finished opening!
Try the same in Chrome: toolbar buttons don't even work until the opening animation has finished š«
