The Thermo Fisher situation keeps getting worse. We've now collected 450+ problematic images presented as verification data in TF's antibody catalog. This includes:
🖌️ Dozens more images with duplications or painting

Excited to share our @natgenet.nature.com study showing that epigenetically rewired transposable elements control AML leukemia stem cell properties and patient outcome.
Grateful to the team & collaborators. www.nature.com/articles/s41...
Excited to share our Nature Genetics Research Briefing on how the repetitive genome helps shape leukemia stemness.
We found that transposable elements sustain stem-like states in AML and predict patient outcomes.

Our new study found that ancient DNA sequences in our genome, called transposable elements, can act as control hubs for leukemia stem cells, fueling therapy resistance and relapse in AML.

A new study by @uhn.ca Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and University of Oxford identified a subset of blood stem cells that are shaped by past inflammatory events. These cells can accumulate with age and are linked to mutations with a higher risk of leukemia.
